Taught to sew by her mother when she was a little girl, Carol Kirby carries this creative talent wherever she goes. Never owning a teddy bear throughout her childhood, Carol began collecting them in 1988 and by 1991, she designed her own line of Mohair artist bears. Now, with a following of many collectors throughout the states, Carol travels to teddy bear shows reaching many hearts. With much support from her husband and three daughters, Carol believes that teddy bears are a worldwide symbol of love and friendship. This love is evident in her carefully designed and high quality characters made entirely by herself. From Carol's home in Columbus, Ohio, she shares her creativeness and love for bears through Ganz to you. |
