Born on Christmas Day in 1951 and raised on Long Island, Christy completed a university education and later taught children at an elementary school. Then, seventeen years ago, while awaiting the birth of her son "Teddy", Christy began designing her line of "Benevolent Bears". Along with her mother, Phyllis Cobb, Christy shows this line of unique fabric bears thoughout the northeastern states. Still residing in Halsite, Long Island, NY with her husband and three children, Christy's specially designed bears continue to touch many hearts. Now available through Ganz, se hope they will also touch yours..
